The hardest part of an extension is not the new walls. It is where new meets old: the structural tie-in, the roof junction, the flashings and the damp detailing. We build extensions from the trade that gets those details right.
What we take on
Single and two-storey extensions, garage conversions with new roofs over, and the structural carpentry that goes with them: joists, roof structures, dormers and openings. Where a project needs trades we do not carry ourselves, we work with people we know and stand behind the whole job.
Why a roofing-led builder
Most extension problems that show up two winters later are roof and weathering problems: a valley that ponds, an abutment flashed with sealant instead of lead, a flat junction that should have been pitched. Those are the details we do every day. Building the extension underneath them means nobody has to hand the critical part to somebody else.
How it runs
We price from your drawings or measure up with you, agree a written scope and programme, and keep the site tidy and the neighbours on side while we work. You deal with the same people from first visit to handover.
